The main buffet restaurant serves breakfast and dinner and lunch can be taken on the terrace of the strelitzia bar/restaurant. The hotel caters for all board basis - B&B : HB : FB : AI: the All Inclusive programme includes locally produced drinks, ice cream for the children ,cakes ,pastries and toasted sandwiches,burgers and hotdogs etc..

The hotel is approx 15 Kms away from the South Tenerife airport where a taxi to the hotel costs approx 22euros The beach of Playa las Vistas is situated approx 1.5k away. The hotel also has a shuttle service that runs to the town centre of Los Cristianos.The local golf courses Los Palos and Costa Adeje in Playa de las Americas are just a few minutes away by car.

For disabled guests the hotel has adapted rooms with wide doorways and adapted bathrooms. These rooms are situated close to reception where you will also find lifts to all floors including the rooftop terrace. COSTA ADEJE GRAN

This is probably the best value officially rated five star hotel on the south coast of Tenerife

The Costa Adeje Gran is the flagship of the Gf hotel chain. The quality at this hotel is evident when you first arrive.

The situation of the hotel is ideal, located in fashionable Costa Adeje with its up market boutique style shops and only 500 metres from the golden sandy beaches of Playa Fanabe. This Blue Flagged beach is certainly a focal point with sunloungers and umbrellas for hire. There are shops and restaurants backing onto the beach The nearest shopping centre to the hotel is a three minute stroll away.

The newly opened Adeje Golf course is only 3 kms away.

Accommodation.

The hotel has 394 twin/double rooms accommodating up to two adults and a child. They are well furnished with tiles flooring, beige pastel walls and lovely warm bed coverings in blue and gold.

Bathrooms are fully equipped with twin washbasins, full length mirror,bath/shower, wc , bidet and hairdryer.

All rooms have full length furnished balcony, individual air conditioning , satellite TV, mini bar and safe for hire.

There are five fully adapted rooms for wheelchair users with wider access and roll in showers. These must be reconfirmed as being available before we can confirm the booking.

There are 14 very spacious Senior suites with separate lounge area and these again accommodate up to two adults and a child. They also have twin balconies and the bathroom comes with hydromassage bath.

Another fabulous bonus is that guests staying in suites also have the choice to dine in the a la carte restaurant La Laja without paying a supplement.

The small supplementary charge over the standard twin rooms make these very affordable and thus extremely popular. They are always the first to sell out so book early.

Wifi is complimentary in all rooms.

Eating and Drinking

La Finca is the main restaurant, it is very bright and airey again with in laid marbled flooring, lemon coloured linen topped by crisp white starched table covers. All meals are international buffet with show cooking stations for pasta, meat and fish to ensure that only the freshest ingredients are used.

La Laja is the intimate a la carte restaurant, built in local style with sea and pool views seating is only for 100 and the cook specialises in Mediterranean style cuisine.

For lunch most customers choose to eat in the Tasca El PuenteRestaurant which has a wonderful selection of tapas and home cooking Canarian style.

The other option for lunch is to stay around the pool and take advantage of the snacks available from the pool side bar.

Evening drinks are best served in the La Palmera Bar, situated in the main hall it has a fabulous atmosphere as guests reflect on their day’s activities whilst listening to the pianist playing nightly.

Apart from the pool bar the hotel has a juice bar which also serves some wonderful cocktails.

Facilities.

The Hotel Costa Adeje Gran two main swimming pools, one which is heated in winter and a separate child’s pool. The whole solarium area is a massive 4,500 square metres and come with sunloungers and umbrellas. Naturally, being a five star hotel, pool towels come at no extra cost. But don’t think you can reserve your favourite place by putting down towels and going off for breakfast. The hotel has a strict policy that this is simply not allowed and do have ‘towel police’ to remove these if they find a culprit. Actually it is good entertainment being a spectator to this. Adult aquarobics take place daily in the pool and occasionally diving trial lessons take over part of the main pool.

The roof top has a separate sun terrace, very peaceful and with stunning view of the mountains and ocean as well as nearby La Gomera here you will find a much smaller pool really just for cooling off. There is also a separate area for those wanting a tan with no ‘white bits’.

Outdoor activities include floodlit tennis court, football and basketball as well as squash and mini golf. There are table tennis and billiard tables too.

Wellness centre.

Comprising of gym and spa circuit with two saunas, a Turkish bath and Jacuzzi. To help you relax and enjoy better living there are a number of spa packages available ranging from the Welcome Package with 30 minutes spa , a relaxtion massage and mini facial for just 69 euro to the three day health care treatment with Therapeutic massage, foot reflexology and Shiatsu for a cost of 190 euro.

Personal trainers are also available at the gym.

Mini Club,

Children between the ages of 4 to 12 years are not forgotten as there is a supervised mini club with organised daily activities and mini disco in the evenings.

For evening adult entertainment live shows take place in the hotel.

Between breakfast and lunch, croissants and cold cuts will be available from the pool bar and likewise between lunch and dinner, cakes, pastries,tarts and desserts will also be available on a self serve basis from the pool bar. From dinner to 11pm sandwiches will be available from the lounge bar.
